About Shalini Prasad

Shalini Prasad, is an active member of the Federation of Canadian artists. She attended Emily Carr for art studies pre-college, then, pursued her artistic interests as a PFD (Professional Floral Designer). Now, she continues to explore art through acrylic painting. Shalini has been accepted in many art shows, both locally and internationally.

Shalini comes from a family of artists; her father is a master carpenter. As the eldest of four daughters, she decided to sign her paintings with her maiden name, Prasad, in order to preserve her family name.

She currently resides in White Rock, British Columbia, with her husband and two daughters.
